Why I built this
"I didn't set out to build a product like this. I wish I never had to."
When my mother was diagnosed, we made recordings. Not because we had a plan, but because we knew we'd want to remember her voice.
After she passed, hearing her didn't replace her. It reminded us of her. Of how she said our names. How she laughed. What she believed.
Eterna exists because forgetting someone's voice can feel like losing them twice.
We built this carefully—with consent at the foundation, with limits on what the system can claim, with safeguards against dependency. We're not selling resurrection. We're preserving memory.
If this helps you, I'm glad.
If it's not right for you, that's okay too.
